The Committee of Conundrums

Subcommittee: Rock Bottom Research

Welcome, esteemed colleagues, to the Rock Bottom Research Subcommittee of the Committee of Conundrums. We're the ones who get to spend our days wondering if it's possible to dig a hole that's actually deeper than the depth of our own existential dread.

Our research focuses on exploring the theoretical limits of geological despair, where the only thing holding up the ground is the weight of our own apathy.

We're currently investigating the phenomenon of "Sedimental Fatigue Syndrome" (SFS), a condition where the layers of rock and soil become so disheartened that they refuse to be excavated.

Want to learn more about SFS? Click here to read our Technical Papers or Funding Proposals to see how you can support our research.

Research Initiatives:

1. Sedimentary Sloganeering - Investigating the effects of sedimentary rocks on the local economy.

2. Rock Bottom Geology - Mapping the geological structures of the bottom of the ocean.

3. Petrological Puzzles - Solving the puzzle of petrological patterns in igneous rocks.

Or, if all else fails, try asking the Committee Secretary for assistance.
